This copper and rawhide mallet features a great non damaging striking surface.

Housed in a malleable iron head with wooden handle, the copper face is manufactured from 99.9% Pure Extruded Electrolytic Copper rod providing a firm positive blow without the risk of damage to expensive components while the rawhide face absorbs the shock of the blow and transfers the force to the item being struck without fear of damage.

Ideal for positive blows on highly finished or closely ground machined parts throughout the aircraft, automotive and shipping industries. Also used by tool and gauge makers as well as bearing assembly makers in heavy industrial applications such as earthmoving equipment, shipping, locomotive assembly etc.

Faces are designed to wear and can be replaced.
