This Industrial set of sockets has been manufactured from hardened and tempered Chrome Vanadium Steel (CR-V). Fully polished, this socket set comes with 16 multi drive sockets (12 sided), two extension bars (200 and 100mm), a sliding T-Bar and 3/4" square drive flip reverse quick release ratchet handle.

For use in automotive, construction and industrial sectors like garages (car and commercial), rail yards, bridge construction, building foundation and construction, aviation and aeronautical engineering etc etc.

Spline socket are designed to service spline bolts. They can also be used instead of a conventional socket on conventional 4 point, 6 point and 12 point nuts, bolts and drives.

On spline fasteners: Spline sockets on spline fasteners help deliver twice the torque of 12 pt. socket on double hex nuts, helping tighten high strength bolts to high torque loads. The spline helps reduce any foreign object debris by forcing a precise fit between the fastening tool and the fastener.

They can also be used instead of a conventional socket on conventional 4 point, 6 point and 12 point nuts, bolts and drives. The contact between the splines and the flat part of the fastener is away from the corners of the fastener helping to prevent debris caused by fastener rounding and scoring. By moving the torque load away from the corners, where the nut is weakest, spline sockets also help provide more torque than hex sockets on hex bolts.

Since the contact between the nut and the socket is away from the corners, spline sockets can also be used to turn nuts and bolts with damaged or corroded corners.
