A versatile generator for general Use. Perfect for low watt power tools, lighting, caravanning and camping.
This compact genny weighs 18kgs to help show its quality and durability yet still light enough and easy to carry.
Being a 2 stroke engine means you have to mix the petrol with some 2 stroke oil. Ordinary unleaded petrol you get from any petrol station and 2 stroke either from motorbike shops, garden machinery centres or good motor factors.
The mixture is 50 to 1. That's 50 parts petrol and 1 part of 2 stroke oil. So the measurement is for 1000ml (1 litre) of petrol you have to mix 20ml of 2 stroke oil.

Q. I just received my generator and it started up fine. Ran it for about half an hour and now can't start it. What do you suggest?
A. You have more than likely put too much oil in. The mix is 50 to 1 so that 20ml of oil to every 1 litre of petrol. It more than likely has to be this as all there are tested and run for at least half an hour prior to despatch. If they are working here then it has to be something you have done and the only the only thing you have done is add petrol and oil. To rectify, remove and clean the spark plug. Thin the mix so you have less oil in the petrol. Set the choke only to half way and after a few pulls it will start. Give it a couple of seconds and take the choke off. Once the excess oil have been burnt off (you will know when this has been done as the generator will stop smoking) it will be fine once again.
Q. I have a 120w fridge and the generator won't even run this. Can you tell me what's wrong?
A. Your fridge is a classic example of how to overpower a generator. The fridge yes has a running wattage of 120 but that's when it reached is temperature. A lot of electrical items have what is called induction starting and this can consume from 3 to 10 times the running wattage of the unit. A fridge for example when warm can use up to 10 times the running watts, so at start up you fridge will be running at 1,200w. Far too much power for this generator and continuing to use it will most likely cause damage to the alternator.
Q. I tried the generator on a small light of only 20 watts and it doesn't put out any power. What could be wrong?
A. The generator needs at least 80 watts of power to excite the diodes so try using something else with the 20 watt light to get it producing power.
