Defenders Mole Smokes combine natural castor oil within a fuse-lit smoke canister for the effective treatment of mole tunnels in vulnerable areas such as seedbeds, lawns, meadows and parks.
Castor oil forms a physical barrier over the surface of treated tunnels, tainting the moles food source and so encouraging them to find a new feeding location.
How To Use Mole Smokes
1. Locate mole tunnel in the area most affected by molehills. The tunnel can always be found immediately beneath a molehill.
2. Ensure all other tunnel holes are well covered with earth to prevent smoke from leaking out after activation.
3. Remove the lid of one Mole Smoke and light the fuse using a match or lighter.
4. Once lit, push the smoke down the tunnel as far as possible with the fused end pointing lengthways down the tunnel.
5. Cover the hole by gently treading down the earth. Check the surrounding area for any sign of smoke leaking out of tunnels.
6. Repeat as required, treating affected areas at the rate of 1 smoke to every 3 molehills.
