Any scan tool is only as good as it operator. You should look at the scan tools as a friend telling to have a look at the components identified as having an error that need to be investigated.

Our technician will give you advice either to replace a component or to give it a further test, Some components are low valve from £20.00 to £50.00 and with the technicians advice should be replaced or test further as more than likely with his experience it will be that at fault.

However if a component is of a much higher valve it must be test and properly diagnosed be deciding to change or not. It could well be a wiring, ECU fault or and earthing problem so to change a high value component when a wiring error exist will not resolve the problem. If a component has hailed it can often bring down the wiring network sending the wrong signals to the ECU giving these errors.
