The Burr wood is especially rough with all the knots included, yet the top of this table has a very smooth finish and perfectly levelled.
This Burr wood (US burl) is wood that has been deformed, normally below the ground and often discovered after the tree dies. This deformation occurs to only a small amount of trees. The skill of turning deformed burr wood into baskets, bowls and tables has been a skill passed down through generations. No two pieces are the same. With these tables you'll get something unique to display in your home.
The wood has been treated and polished with food safe oils to give you confidence when presenting edibles.
