This 9 Volt DC Universal Mains Adaptor fits any of the Defenders range of outdoor animal deterrents. It is recommended for use in place of alkaline batteries where frequent animal activity, or passing traffic, is expected to trigger the animal deterrent repeatedly.
Installation
Move the power switch of the unit to the OFF position
Connect the extension cable into the socket of the unit (for the STV661 insert the converter cable into the unit and the extension into the converter) and the other end of the cable with the output cable of the mains adaptor
Plug the mains adaptor into an indoor mains outlet.
Turn the power switch to the ON position. The LED indicator on the unit will light up after a few seconds.
The unit can be left on permanently.
