The Mega-Sonic Woof! Woof! from Defenders is an effective and welfare-friendly dog trainer with bark detection coupled to ultrasonic, or high-frequency, sound output to deter dogs from persistent barking.

Use the Mega-Sonic Woof! Woof! to train you own pet, or to deter a neighbours dog, from habitual and disturbing barking.

Directions For Use

1. Remove all packaging and carefully read the instructions.

2. Separate the Main Module from the Mounting Bracket to the rear by sliding it up and out of the retaining slots.

3. Remove the cover of the battery compartment at the rear of the main module by unscrewing the retaining screw and sliding off cover.

4. Insert 4 Alkaline LR20 Q 1.5v batteries (not included) and replace cover. For mains power see POWER panel below

5. If mounting directly onto a wall-screw using the screw-hole at the back of the Main Module go to 7.

6. Locate the Mounting Bracket securely onto any outdoor vertical surface using the fixing screws provided - see also SITING INSTRUCTIONS. For further information on assembly and mounting an Instruction Leaflet is provided in-pack.

7. Slide the back of the main module downwards into the retaining slots of the Mounting Bracket until it clicks positively into place.

8. Adjust the rear mount so that the speaker of the main module is aimed into the territory where the dog is barking - see also SITING INSTRUCTIONS and Instruction Leaflet in-pack.

9. Select the sensitivity setting required - see also STETTING INSTRUCTIONS.

10. Turn the unit on using the ON/OFF switch within the control panel at the front of the main module and then replace the Control Panel cover.

11. The unit will activate after a few seconds delay. Check the sonic output by pushing the red Test Button within the main module.

Directions For Use

Siting Instructions
Position the unit facing directly towards the dog's territory and within 15 meters of it.
Mount the unit up to a maximum of 2 meters above ground level and ensure the area to the front of
it is unobstructed by fencing, foliage, or other solid objects.
If possible, test that the correct sensitivity setting has been selected by mimicking the dog bark using a firm hand clop within the dog's territory. When the unit activates a green LED indicator will illuminate.
In general, larger dogs require a lower sensitivity setting, ie: their bark is louder.

If dog barking is persistent it may be necessary to power the unit using the mains adaptor - see POWER information.
Once it is set up and in position leave the unit operating constantly.
