A must have tool. Allows you to remove steering with ease and without having to remove the steering rack from the sub-frame or chassis. Steering racks as we all know are put in the most awkward and in accessible place and often impossible to to get a spanner on the joint to remove the steering arm.
This highly specialised tool is for removing the axial joint on the steering arm on many makes and models of vehicles.
The hollow body of this tool allows the track rod lever to pass through to the joint of the steering knuckle.
Once the tool has a firm grip on the joint of the steering knuckle, choose a 27mm hex wrench to work the end of this tool. Turn it anti-clockwise to loosen the axial joint.
The head application fits 35mm ~ 45mm diameter. The driven end works with either a 27mm hexspanner or socket and1/2" drive ratchet or breaker bar.
